Title: Can We Feed 10 Billion People? Of Course We Can!
Speaker: Philip Wilkinson OBE
As an executive board member of Ingham’s, Australia and New Zealand’s largest integrated poultry producer that includes 345 facilities and farms, Philip led the company to one of the most successful IPO’s in the Australian history. He also held a role as Executive Director at 2 Sisters Food Group, UK’s leading food company, and previously as Managing Director of Integrated Chicken at Grampian Country Foods. Philip’s standing and service to the industry have been well recognized; he was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to the Dairy Industry in 2004 and awarded Colonel in the USA for Global Services to the Food Industry in 2010. He is also a Board member of the British Poultry Council, is currently Vice President of AVEC (European Poultry Council), and a Board Member of Assured Food Standards (Red Tractor).
Title: Cargill’s approach on innovation and new technology
Speaker: Ing. Hector Santos, Hatchery Manager at Cargill.
Mr. Santos has over 15 years of experience in management of hatcheries for the production of chicks, with a focus on quality, performance and safety. Mr. Santos has experience in planning and initial startup of plants, management and training of human resources and development and technical-financial evaluation of new projects as well as the advice of incubators at local and international level.

Speaker:Dr. Donna Hill, DVM, MAM, Dipl. ACPV and Tjitze Meter, Founder and CEO of HatchTech
Founder and CEO of HatchTech. Tjitze Meter changed the game with the first HatchTech incubator and made early feeding a new standard. His drive to reject standard solutions and find a better way of doing things remains key to the HatchTech approach today. He got recognized for his vision and impact in the global poultry industry with the ‘Breeder Personality’ award from VIV Europe.
Dr. Donna Hill is an experienced poultry industry professional, and an international expert on hatchery design and management. Drawing on her many years working with leading poultry companies such as Perdue Farms and Peterson Farms, Donna coaches HatchTech customers to promote both welfare and flock performance.
