HatchTech shares knowledge with de Heus and Wageningen University
Sharing knowledge is one of the many important activities of our Research Team. Accompanied by six International students of Wageningen University, our research team welcomed de Heus Animal Feeds in the HatchTech Experience Centre.
The students are working together with de Heus on an Academic Consultancy Training project; together they have visited the HatchTech Experience Centre to gain knowledge about the latest developments in incubation.
There has been a lot of interest in HatchCare – the hatcher with light, feed and water - particularly in the early feeding of day-old chicks.
“Visiting the HatchTech Experience Centre was an informative and especially illustrative experience for the students. By sharing knowledge, the group got inspired to lift early feeding to an even higher level”, says Celine Chang from de Heus.
Dr. Inge van Roovert, head of the HatchTech Research Team states: “I know how valuable it is to talk with people from the industry and to actually work on a project for a commercial company. We have a very healthy cooperation with Wageningen University. Therefore we support each other whenever we can; by sharing our knowledge with the upcoming generation and by gaining knowledge from the views of young and talented students”.
