HatchCare IPPE breakfast meeting is overwhelming success!

January 28, 2016

The HatchCare breakfast meeting held yesterday morning at the Omni Hotel in Atlanta attracted a large crowd. A team of industry specialists informed those who attended about the new standard in antibiotic-free poultry production and animal-friendly bird handling.

HatchTech Hatchery Coach, Dr. Donna Hill first gave a presentation on the effects of early feeding on day-old chicks, making clear why HatchCare guarantees undisrupted chick development and superior chick quality.
Afterwards, Bas Smaal, Business Unit Manager at Viscon Hatchery Automation, explained the ins and outs of animal-friendly bird handling in the hatchery.

Lastly, our special guest Scott Sechler, President and Chairman of Bell & Evans, explained why the hatcher with light, feed and water perfectly matches their business model. “HatchCare’s focus on humane animal welfare is directly in line with my philosophy to continually reduce stress and improve the welfare and comfort of our chickens,” Mr Sechler said. “It’s a well-designed and thought-out system.”
