Transport Coordinator (32-40 hours)

At HatchTech, bright minds pay attention to innovative technologies and the sale of capital goods, such as complete chick hatcheries. These goods sell like hot cakes. But of course, all these goods must eventually arrive at our international customers. And that is exactly your job. Your job, more accurately, because you will be joined by one direct colleague.

In this team you organize, coordinate and plan everything related to the transport of our goods. You make sure that everything is arranged properly and in the most efficient and cost-conscious way. We hire external carriers who transport our goods by sea or by road. Our products are often sold in large, long-term projects (+30 containers). In addition to long-term projects, there are also ‘individual’ shipments / transports, sometimes including rush shipments. This makes the job varied, but it also requires your flexibility and ability to switch between different tasks.

Some concrete examples of your work:

  • Organizing, entering and confirming international transports and shipments.
  • Requesting quotes from transport companies and agreeing delivery and payment terms with the carrier.
  • Taking care of transport and export documents plus declarations.
  • Administration of the stock in the bonded warehouse.
  • Monitoring of shipments.
  • Coordinating transport plans with other departments, our colleagues abroad and suppliers.

  • You are good at monitoring deadlines and schedules and can keep an overview.
  • You take initiative and do not let things simmer: tackling is your motto.
  • You speak and type English.
  • You live in the vicinity of Veenendaal, because we like it when you don’t have to travel too long. In the coming months we will be working temporarily in Rhenen, until our brand new office near Veenendaal- de Klomp Station will be finished.

    • If you are a starter, you will have a starting salary of € 2,700.00 (based on 40 hours). As you build up work experience with us, you can expect to grow to the salary of an experienced level.
    • Are you experienced, then your salary range is between € 3.000,00 and max € 3.650,00 at the end of the scale (bases on 40 hours).
  • You get a job for 32-40 hours per week that is so varied that you will not be bored for the next 10 years.
  • You will receive a smartphone which you can also use privately.
  • You get 26 days of vacation and if that is not enough, you can opt for 13 additional ADV days (both based on full-time).
