Hatcher Basket
Uniform Conditions From Hatch to Transport
HatchTech Hatcher Baskets support controlled hatching conditions, practical basket handling and chick protection throughout the final stage of incubation. Whether used in a MicroClimer Hatcher or HatchCare system, each basket concept is designed around the biological and operational requirements.

Designed For Uniform
Hatching Conditions
The HatchTech MicroClimer Hatcher Basket is designed for use within the MicroClimer Hatcher concept. During the final stage of incubation, heat production increases significantly. Uniform airflow throughout the basket helps maintain optimal temperatures for embryos and newly hatched chicks.
In addition to supporting optimal hatching conditions, the basket is designed for efficient day-to-day hatchery operations. Its dimensions and handling features facilitate easy transport and handling, while the specially designed floor helps newly hatched chicks stand securely after hatch, reducing the need for paper inserts.
Uniform Airflow
Perforations throughout the basket allow air to reach all eggs and chicks, helping maintain optimal conditions during the hatching process.
Easy Handling
The basket design supports practical manual and semi automated handling while allowing secure stacking during hatchery operations.
Chick Protection
A specially designed nonslip floor helps chicks stand after hatch while reducing the need for additional paper inserts.

Extending Support
Beyond Hatch
The HatchCare Basket is designed specifically for use within the HatchCare system. Building on the principles of the MicroClimer Hatcher Basket, it incorporates an integrated feed trough and side openings that provide chicks with access to fresh water and light from the moment of hatch.
When combined with the HatchCare Tray, newly hatched chicks move from the tray into the basket below, separating them from unhatched eggs and eggshells. This creates additional usable space during the early-life period.
Together, the HatchCare Basket and HatchCare Tray simplify chick processing throughout the hatchery.
Early Feed Access
An integrated feed trough provides newly hatched chicks with immediate access to feed from the moment of hatch.
More Space for Chicks
When combined with the HatchCare Tray, chicks benefit from up to 40% more space after hatch.
Simplified Chick Processing
Eliminates the need for separators and counting machines, reducing chick handling.

Answers to the most common questions about the HatchTech Hatcher Baskets.
What is the difference between HatchTech Hatcher Baskets and HatchCare Baskets?
HatchTech Hatcher Baskets are designed for use within the MicroClimer Hatcher concept and focus on airflow, handling and chick protection. HatchCare Baskets are designed specifically for HatchCare systems and provide integrated access to feed, fresh water and light after hatch.
Can the HatchTech 88 Hatcher Basket be integrated into automated hatchery operations?
The HatchTech 88 Hatcher Basket is used in combination with the HatchTech Hatcher Dolly and MicroClimer Hatcher. Together, these components support uniform airflow, efficient handling and controlled hatching conditions throughout the process.
Can HatchTech Hatcher Baskets be used for both hatching and transport?
Yes. HatchTech Hatcher Baskets are designed for both hatching and chick transport, helping simplify handling and logistics throughout the hatchery process.
What is the difference between a MicroClimer Hatcher Basket and a HatchCareHatcher Basket?
Both basket concepts are designed to support airflow, practical handling and chick protection throughout the hatching process. The HatchCare Hatcher Basket builds on these principles by enabling access to feed, fresh water and light during the critical period immediately after hatch.
