Everything you need to know about the HI Interface

What are the display requirements for upgrading to HI Interface?

HI Interface requires a controller with a display resolution of 800 × 400 pixels. Existing HatchTech systems equipped with this display may be suitable for a software upgrade. Systems with a 320 × 240 pixel display resolution may require a display upgrade before HI Interface can be installed. HatchTech offers upgrade kits to replace these displays where applicable. The HI Interface itself operates at a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels.

What is SPIDES?

SPIDES stands for Short Periods of Incubation During Egg Storage. With HI Interface, SPIDES can be activated directly through the incubator interface, simplifying a process that traditionally required additional handling and helping operators apply the program more consistently.

Does HI Interface only monitor the incubation process?

No. In addition to monitoring key incubation parameters, HI Interface supports temperature management and enables activation of incubation functions such as SPIDES and Uniform Embryo Activator directly through the interface.

What information is available through the HI Interface dashboard?

The dashboard provides an overview of four key incubation parameters using values based on real measurements for each section. Operators can quickly assess system status and receive notifications when conditions move outside the setpoint range.

Can existing HatchTech systems be upgraded with HI Interface?

Selected existing HatchTech incubation systems may be compatible with a HI Interface upgrade. The available functionality depends on the machine type and system configuration. HatchTech can advise which upgrade options are available for your installation.
