To better serve its rapidly growing North American customer base, HatchTech has opened a dedicated service and support hub in Atlanta, Georgia. The new facility houses a team of certified field engineers and a fully stocked spare parts warehouse, cutting average response times from days to hours across the eastern seaboard.

Why Georgia?

Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport offers direct connections to nearly every major poultry-producing region in the US, from the Delmarva Peninsula to the Mississippi Delta. HatchTech’s logistics team ran a six-month analysis before selecting the site, weighing flight frequencies, road infrastructure, and the local pool of agricultural engineering talent.

The building itself spans 3,200 m² and includes a training suite where hatchery operators can attend hands-on workshops without leaving the country. HatchTech will run two certified technician programmes per quarter from day one.

“Our US customers deserve the same same-day support that our European clients have enjoyed for years. This hub makes that possible.”

— David Hartmann, VP Service Americas

Expanded spare parts coverage

The Georgia warehouse holds critical components for every MicroClimer Setter and Hatcher model shipped to North America since 2018. Emergency overnight delivery is now available to any US address, with same-day courier service within a 500 km radius of Atlanta.

A secondary depot in Fresno, California is scheduled to open in Q3 2025, extending same-day coverage to the West Coast operations of several genetics companies.

What this means for North American hatcheries

Hatcheries running multi-stage production cycles can now schedule preventive maintenance visits with two weeks’ notice instead of the previous six-week lead time. Remote diagnostics via the HatchTech Connect platform will be backed by a US-based engineer available in the same time zone, every business day.

For new installations, the Georgia team will handle pre-commissioning site surveys, reducing the need to fly European engineers across the Atlantic for each project kick-off.
