Uniform Chick Quality Through Humidity

MSc Hatchability and chick quality are maximized and hatch window is minimized when the eggshell temperature is kept at a constant 100ºF (37.8ºC) during incubation, until internal pipping. Humidity is an excellent transport medium for heat.When humidity is maintained at an optimal level throughout the whole incubator, eggs can be cooled or heated uniformly. This results in uniform embryo temperatures, hatch window and chicks. However, this can only be realized if the humidity is of high quality, which is largely determined by the water droplet size in the air.
