SetCare
Optimal incubation takes 24 days
SetCare redefines the start of incubation with an unique 24-day incubation process. Through gradual warming and precise temperature control at trolley level, SetCare reduces early embryo mortality and increases the hatch of first-grade chicks.

Why 24 days?
Even in the top 25% best-performing hatcheries, early embryonic mortality accounts for up to 4,4% of set eggs and represents roughly half of total embryonic mortality. While incubation is traditionally considered a 21-day process starting at 100°F, more than 20 years of incubation research have demonstrated that embryo development begins at 85°F. SetCare applies this insight by gradually warming eggs from 85°F to 100°F at approximately 0.1°F per hour, reducing early embryonic mortality.
- 3,3% more first-grade chicks while requiring 3,82% fewer eggs set
- 1.8-point FCR improvement
- Consistent results across broilers and layers, regardless of storage duration
SetCare starts incubation at 85°F and extends the total incubation process to 24 days, creating optimal conditions during the early stage of embryo development.

Why is SetCare
a next-generation setter?
SetCare builds on the proven MicroClimer Setter and its core technologies, including Laminar Airflow and advanced climate control, while introducing a fundamentally new approach to early embryo development. Its six-day gradual warming phase is designed to match the needs of the developing embryo, supporting an optimal start to incubation.
This gradual warming profile requires extremely precise temperature control throughout the setter. Through trolley-level control, SetCare continuously adapts incubation conditions to the needs of the developing embryo, ensuring the right environment at every stage of development.
- Embryonic development starts at 85°F
- Six-day gradual warming from 85°F to 100°F
- 24-day total incubation process
engineered for precision
Supporting every stage of incubation
Every component is designed to create precise, uniform incubation conditions from gradual warming to hatch.
Trolley-Level Control
Each trolley is monitored and regulated individually, allowing incubation conditions to continuously adapt to the changing needs of the developing embryo.
High-Capacity Setter
With capacity for up to 200,640 eggs, SetCare maximises incubation capacity per square meter while maintaining uniform incubation conditions throughout the setter.
Modular & Gas Tight Construction
Built from standardised components with sealing elements throughout the cabinet, ensuring maximum gas tightness and simplified maintenance.
