HatchTech to support latest Fieldale Farms expansion
As the new year begins, HatchTech is pleased to announce the next stage of its exciting partnership with US poultry producer Fieldale Farms.
Based in Baldwin, Georgia, Fieldale is a family-owned business that has grown to become part of the larger independent poultry producers in the world. In 2006, the company completed the first phase of its HatchTech hatchery, which currently produces more than 1.35 million eggs per week.
The hatchery harnesses HatchTech’s patented Laminar Airflow technology to ensure uniformity across its MicroClimer Setters and Hatchers. The company has also worked closely with HatchTech and local businesses, integrating our technology with locally supplied HVAC systems to provide conditioned air to eggs before and after hatching.
Now HatchTech is supporting Fieldale with an ambitious new expansion that will double the hatchery’s capacity to more than 2.7 million eggs per week. The expanded hatchery will be equipped with the latest HatchTech technology. This will include the latest versions of the MicroClimer Setter and Hatcher – our solutions are equipped with the new HI Interface software, which offers increased precision control of the incubation environment on temperature, humidity and CO2 levels.

The machines will also feature Uniform Embryo Activator, SPIDES and Ultimate Machine Sanitation modes. Meanwhile, the hatchery will be equipped with the CyClean™ system – developed by HatchTech to minimise fluff production in hatchers and a major breakthrough for bio-security in poultry production. CyClean™ also completely eliminates the need for fluff rooms behind the hatchers, which saves considerable space.
