ModernHatch invests in SetCare to further improve chick quality and performance

ModernHatch continues to invest in innovation with the addition of SetCare to their hatchery operations. As the first hatchery to implement this technology, they take a leading step in advancing incubation control.

SetCare focuses on the earliest and most critical phase of embryo development. By gradually warming embryos from 85°F to 100°F, development is initiated in a controlled and uniform way. This approach reduces early mortality and creates a more consistent start for every embryo. With precise temperature control at trolley level, each batch follows the same controlled profile. This results in higher uniformity, stronger chicks, and more predictable performance both in the hatchery and in the field.

Following the successful commissioning of the machines, the first production cycles have already confirmed the expected results. The decision to invest in SetCare reflects a clear belief: more control during the earliest phase of incubation leads to better outcomes throughout the entire process.

As Kornel Zyla shares:

“Working with HatchTech for 15 years, I think we have a similar purpose, constantly striving for perfection to make our final product the best. I think we inspire each other and strive towards the same goal, which is quality day-old chicks and customer satisfaction.”

With SetCare, ModernHatch takes the next step in strengthening their position, focusing on consistent, high-quality results driven by control, uniformity and performance.
